Instoremedia has produced technological innovations and solutions for the Palace to enhance and strengthen the cultural experiences as well as increase interaction with visitors.
“We are very happy to be part of the project of creating a virtual high-quality experience for both children and adults.” – Erik Andersson, CEO at Instoremedia
The Palace itself is the old National Archieves building at Riddarholmen in Stockholm and is heritage listed. For that reason there were special requirements for both installation and choice of solutions for the technical equipment.
Instoremedia supports the palace with digital signage containing 32 media players, 25 screens including 11 touch screens, two projectors that are projecting a red carpet in the grand staircase, 4 touch screen computers, RFID solution for effects, and much more.
All solutions are integrated into the house to create a sense of adventure, like stepping into a new world but also to give visitors adequate information about availability and guidance within the building, which consists of 50 rooms on eight floors.
