Svenska Spel’s store in Sundbyberg has recently opened after a complete makeover. It will be the only shop of its kind in the country which is almost completely digital. This new technology gives the customer the opportunity to listen to personalized game info and watch match facts in front of a digital screen.
“This is not a new concept store but a live game store workshop, where the dialog is the tool to develop the future of gaming stores.” – Peter Sjölin, Business Developer at Svenska Spel.
Instoremedia AB has together with our partner Lexter Technology & Sound AB installed a solution for controlling both audio as well as content on selected screens in the shop. The solution consists of a touch screen with a control panel that provides the staff with the opportunity to control selected screens in a quick and easy way. Large buttons show the staff various options for sound and channel installations within the store. Without any computer experience, the staff thereby can change the content on the screens, and control the sound in different zones of the shop.
The channels that can be set from the touch screen are two HD-TV channels, media players, PC jacks, background music and audio input for external audio source. The purpose of the screens in the shop is to display advertising, television, and live odds to enhance the experience for Svenska Spel’s customers.
“The solution from Lexter and Instoremedia allows us to easily test new digital messages and to be able to work with sound pictures in an efficient manner.” – Peter Sjölin.
